From the origin of raw material
Producing gelatin in a sustainable way is Gelprime’s fundamental concern. With regard to the capture of raw material, it should be noted that all tanneries in our Group have:
LEATHER WORKING GROUP / LWG CERTIFICATION
Which assesses the compliance and environmental performance of tanneries. Among the audited items, we have as an example waste management, effluent treatment and traceability, as it allows us to know the origin of the purchased raw material. The Certification includes three classification seals (gold, silver and bronze). It is noteworthy that all our tanneries have the gold seal.
ISO 9001-2015 CERTIFICATION
It is a quality management system (QMS) that aims to ensure process optimization, greater agility in product development and more agile production in order to satisfy customers and standards.

Aiming at sustainable development, Gelprime has implemented some initiatives which will allow.
The reduction of energy consumption, through the installation of the solar heater system and the use of natural lighting through the translucent roof
Reuse of rainwater, and after the water is captured on our roofs, it is directed to a reservoir, being used to irrigate lawns and clean external areas.
